Cancellation & Refund Policy

Stopping, and getting money back.

The short version: monthly services can be stopped whenever you like, the 75% balance is never taken before you approve the website, and the deposit pays for work that has already started. The detail is below.

01

The 25% deposit

Your deposit is 25% of the one-time website total. It is what starts the project: it books the work in and pays for the design and build time that begins once your content arrives.

If you cancel before the website is finished:

  • Before we have started building — tell us and we will refund the deposit, less any costs already committed on your behalf, such as a domain we registered for you.
  • After the build has started — the deposit covers the work already done and is generally not refundable. If we have barely begun, say so and we will look at it fairly rather than hiding behind the policy.
  • Either way — you owe nothing further. The 75% balance never becomes due on a project you cancelled, because it only becomes due on approval.

All of this is subject to your statutory rights, which we cannot and do not sign away — see clause 05.

02

The remaining 75%

The balance becomes due only after we deliver the finished website and you approve it. We do not take it automatically, and we do not take it while you are still reviewing.

If you review the site and it is not what you asked for, tell us what is wrong. Fixing that is part of the build, not a paid change. If you decide not to go ahead at all, the site does not go live and the balance is not charged.

Once you have approved and paid, the balance is not refundable simply because you change your mind later — but see clause 05, and if something is genuinely wrong with what we delivered, that is our problem to fix.

Monthly services

Monthly services — Online Booking, Website Maintenance, Review Management and the Digital Menu monthly fee — run month to month. There is no minimum term.

  • How to cancel — turn the service off in your dashboard under My Services, or email us. Both work; neither requires a phone call or a reason.
  • When it takes effect — at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep the service until then.
  • Periods already paid — not refunded pro-rata, because you had the service for that month. If you cancel the day after a payment and have not used the service at all, contact us.
  • What happens to your website — cancelling a monthly service does not take your site down. Hosting continues under your build. What stops is that specific service: bookings stop accepting appointments, maintenance changes stop being included, and so on.
  • Unused maintenance changes — do not roll over and are not refundable.
04

Failed payments and suspension

If a monthly payment fails we tell you, give you a reasonable grace period to fix it, and only then suspend the affected service. Suspension is a pause — we do not delete your website or your data because a card expired. Settling the outstanding amount reactivates the service.

05

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page removes rights you have by law. Where consumer protection or distance-selling rules give you a right to cancel or a right to a remedy, those rights apply regardless of what this policy says.

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: statutory withdrawal / cooling-off wording for the applicable jurisdiction, including whether a right of withdrawal applies to this service, its length, and the effect of the customer asking us to begin work during that period]

At checkout we ask you to confirm the payment schedule before you pay, and we record that confirmation. If the applicable rules require a specific early-commencement acknowledgement, it belongs at that same point in the flow — it is marked in the checkout for the same review.

06

How to cancel, and how long refunds take

  • Monthly services — dashboard → My Services, or email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
  • A project — email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and tell us you want to stop. No form to fill in.
  • Refunds — paid back to the original payment method through our payment provider. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank, not on us.

The wider agreement is in the Terms of Service, and how we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy.
